Saturday February 2nd at 9.00 pm in Rose's West End Bar, Lismore
Alana Levandoski and Braden Gates
Alana Levandoski has been hard at work this fall writing a book and making a record! The book and album are a complete work of art, as each chapter is paired with a song. The new project will accompany Alana on her upcoming European tour.
Since the beginning of her recording career, Manitoba native Alana Levandoski has been seen by peers and industry professionals as a “real deal” songwriter, garnering the respect of many of the greatest writers and players in music. Possessing natural instincts and dedication, Alana has earned her stripes as a significant contributor to songwriting as a craft.
Beyond all else, the roots of music is Alana’s first love and has immersed herself in places like Nashville, Muscle Shoals, the Mississippi Delta and with songwriters all across her great native land.
Accompanying Alana for this gig is fiddle player and songwriter Braden Gates.

Through a career that has seen her move from Ottawa to Los Angeles and back again, with stops in Nashville and Austin, Lynn Miles has always written music with unbridled feeling and vulnerability. Miles has consistently been unflinching in putting herself out there. Now with her eighth studio offering Fall For Beauty the voice of her experience has truly elevated her songwriting to its richest depth of emotion.
Lynn Miles is one of Canada's most accomplished singer/songwriters. With seven albums to her credit, the winner of multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, and a 2003 Juno Award for Roots & Traditional Solo Album of the Year, she has certainly found her strength over time.
